CHOCOLATE CREATIVE AT THE ETSY-WEST ELM POP- UP IN LONDON
Wednesday, 26 February 2014
Hello and how is everybody? I hope well and enjoying the sunshine that we are having lately!!
February has been a very busy month and it seems March would continue the trend...
I am very happy to announce that I am going to take part in the first esty pop-up shop at west elm in London. The event has been curated by Arianna and Carole from Heart Home Magazine. I am really excited to be part of it, and see how big stores such as west elm are doing more and more collaborations with small independent designers/makers/brands.
If you are in London and happen to come along to the event, please come and say hello, I don't know in which area of the shop I would be yet, but I am sure you will find me there!! See you all soon!

British illustration by Alice Potter
Friday, 20 April 2012
I have been meaning to draw my cat Missi for quite sometimes, but I must admit I am not very good at it, I have lost practice over the years, and I wouldn't know where to start as I don't have a very defined style, that is why I am taken sometime to think and draw the next collection, it might take longer than I would like but I want to enjoy the process, and mature the ideas, you see, launching a collection is expensive and time consuming, and it is there to stay for a very long time, so I will make sure I am happy with it before I release it. In the meantime I will keep enjoying and promoting other people's work that catch my eye. I like Alice's work, specially the animal's illustration, the fish print is my favorite, much better in real life, I met her lat week at the Homespun event and we got chatting away about Etsy, work, etc...
Have a nice weekend, and make the most of the good weather, if there is any, wherever you are.
Cotton tea towel, note books and many more products and illustrations available at her etsy shop.

Eva from misako mimoko, lives in my dear Barcelona, (I miss being there very much, still got amazing friends over there). I first saw her work on Etsy and went to explore her magical work through her blog and Etsy shop. I am in love with her creations and the way she stylish them. What a talented lady and Spanish as well haha...

Poms poms paradise...
Wednesday, 2 December 2009
I can't wait for my birthday party so I can decorate my house with some of this pom poms, I would like to fill the living room, hall, and staircase with them. At this point fancy this gorgeous tones of grey, black and caramel, but who knows I may change my mind into something a bit more colorful...Kirsten's shop is full of beautiful designs and color to choose from...I even fancy to leave them up once the party is over...

My home in Etsy Finds Decor column
Sunday, 8 November 2009

I always check the 'Etsy Finds Decor column' in Etsy blog, as part of my search for inspiration which never ends...It is very interesting to see the houses of some of the designers on etsy, most of the time their homes are an extension of their craft, and in this occasion it is my home that is being featured in this space. Christine runs this great column, she has got a great eye for finding wonderful things in Etsy and I am impressed with the selection she has chosen to go with my home style, just as if I would have chosen them myself...I could not have done any better.Etsy keeps surprising me all the time, and the talented people that is out there even more!!

Blogs, Etsy, and the great designers community out there...
Tuesday, 6 October 2009
I have taken 2 days off work this week, (graphic design) to dedicate my entire time to my textiles business, plus Thursday which I already have to work on my cushions. But there is always something else going on that doesn’t allow me to focus on my work. Anyway here I am doing some bits on the blog, I just wish I could dedicate a few hours everyday to write and make beautiful posts, most of the time I am rushing, and that translate into very bad writing, even in Spanish, (my native language). So I apoligize from here for not writing as well as I would like and not posting on both languages all the time. I am sure once the economy recover I will be able to work full time on my textiles and therefore have more time to dedicate to our blog.
I wanted to thanks two clever ladies who recently posted about my Cameos cushion on their blogs, they found me on Etsy, the same way I have come across very inspirational work from many talented designers and makers that you get to see in here. I just wanted to point out how important the blog community has became to spread the word about our own work and get to know people from all over the world who share the same interests and passion for craft and design.
