Back from a peaceful, relaxed and gorgeous weekend, I have spent the last two days in the remote and quiet town of La Aldea de San Nicolas, a small town far far from the rest of the world. Ate fresh fruit collected straight from the land, fresh fish by the beach, did a lot of walking, went to a hidden beach, etc...I wish I could bring some of this with me back to London, the feeling of total calm, and peace that I feel when I am here, the tranquility and simplicity of its people and landscape, which is every dry and moon like, with its endemic plants, birds, lizards, etc...I totally love London, but I appreciate this so different part of my life/culture that I get to live when back home in Gran Canaria.

Daises outside my hubby's house, (my name, margarita, means daisy in English), I got a very nice surprise when I saw them in his front garden, not that he planted them, apparently they grew from nowhere, which is even more surprising...

Back in London from my beautiful island....

Hello all, I am back in London, happy to be at home, specially since I missed my cat Missi so much, I know he doesn't really care if I am around or not, cats are very independent and are happy as long as someone feed and give them attention, but I rather believe that he loves me as much as I love him haha...Anyway settle back in London, always takes me a while, specially since my body have to adapt to the fact that I leave behind 30C and come to 0C, never easy. The landscape is so different as well, I live in the South of the Island, surrounded by beach and mountains, well and tourist resorts, that make you feel like you are in a permanent holiday...can't really complain, I am very lucky to have to places to call home, together, they are the perfect combination, I just wish I could bring Missi with me...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I am back from the paradise....

Well, I am back after spending a few weeks back home, Gran canaria. I have to admit that is taking me a while to settle into my life in London. Mainly because of the difference in weather, you see, I was in a T-shirt and having my morning walks on the beach, so my body hasn't adjusted just yet to this cold, snow and luck of SUN!! But here I am, ready for 2010 and all the challenges good and bad that this year may bring my way.

One of my New year's resolution is to spend more time back in Spain, my dream life would be the one where I get to live between the 2 countries, UK and Spain!! So I have already started to make changes in my life to be able to achieve this dream life. 2010 is going to be a big year for me and Chocolate Creative!!
