Good news, if you are a fan of the simple things in life, enjoy slow living, baking your own cakes, make your home personal an interesting, or at least try, (I do and I hope to get there soon...), then NEW magazine The Simple Things would be the ideal read. The publication is a new monthly print magazine – launching tomorrow – celebrating the things that matter most. It’s about knowing the greatest rewards come from the simplest things, that there’s no satisfaction like that at the end of a long muddy walk, no pink so pretty as freshly-cut rhubarb, no perfume to compare with your own home-grown flowers. It’s about making warm inviting homes – big or small – sharing food with friends, growing your own vegetables. It’s about shopping for a coffee table only to find you’re happy with a tea chest.  I am already subscribed to the sister magazine Mollie Makes and can't wait to get my hands on this first issue, with a nice cup of tea and spend a few hours of  ME time!. 

My picks of the new Heart Home Magazine

Launched in September 2011, British Interior Design magazine Heart Home is a quarterly publication celebrating all that is unique and good about interior decor and lifestyle. Championing independent British Designers and inspiring readers to create their own great British Homes. Founded by Arianna Trapani, Carole King and Daniel Nelson.
Below are my favorites shoots of this first issue, eclectic mix of vintage furniture, hints of colors, pieces from independent designers, playful and quirkiness interiors, relaxed, personal, and easy going decorating approach to living. Well done Heart Home magazine team, I have enjoyed reading it and flipping the pages, looking forward the next issue!

Woman is a Spanish magazine that I haven't seen for quite a while, it is not just a very good fashion publication, it is packed with all sort of info, in this issue it talks about traveling blogs, the best books and writers, lot of interesting stories and even a special on decoration and interiors.

No había comprado la revista Woman desde hacía tiempo, y me ha sorprendido muy gratamente, no solo es una revista de moda, sino que habla de temas muy interesanates, y lo más, incluso tienen juna sección dedicada al interiorismo.

This house from Mercedes a stylist in Santander, is the perfect mix of whites, calm and packed with gorgeous objects and furniture, such as this chesterfield covered in this rich red damask fabric, I LOVE it!!. Esta casa de la interiorista Mercedes en Santander, es una mezcla perfecta de blancos, paz y objetos recojidos en sus muchos viajes, el chesterfiel rojo tapizado en damasco es una pasada!!

Me encanta esta mesa de campo antígua con la colección de jarrones y las sillas modernas.

My favourite magazine ever...

AD is the Spanish version of the International Architectural Digest magazine, it is the best interiors magazine around!! I find so much inspiration in there, always full of amazing interiors and furniture to dream of...I just found that you can view the magazine on this website.  

I always carry my copies from Spain to London , they are heavy but worth every page.
